  • Our goal when creating this ad was to highlight Urban Outfitter’s free-spirited energy and make their customers feel comfortable in expressing themselves, while still featuring UO’s unique clothing. This ad’s goal was to use the Brand Image strategy, which sells the product’s “aura” and asks the consumer to buy into a brand personality rather than appealing to logic. We did this by choosing an image that features various unique clothing pieces and a friend group that is in nature, playing music, and having a good time — all things that align with UO’s brand personality and the target audience’s desires.
