Indiana University Recruiting

  • Designed three print ads as part of a campaign for Indiana University, with the goal of recruiting students and showing them how our culture stands out.

    The class assignment was to use the Lifestyle strategy in advertising, which appeals to emotion and is associated with living a certain way of life. My team wanted to show prospective students that no matter who they are, they can find their place at IU. We did this by showcasing different student-life examples, including parties, student organizations, and school spirit at our football games.

    I chose to use bold colors to appeal to the target audience of a student, as well as using a handwritten font and fill-in-the-blank format to seem more personable; as if a current IU student was speaking directly to a future one.

  • Created/designed the ads, but also helped teammates brainstorm the campaign idea and tagline.
